Faculty of Agriculture welcomed H.E. Mr. Kiptiness Lindsay Kimwole, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the Kingdom of Thailand

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kesinee Ketpayak, Associate Dean of International Affairs and Public Relations; Asst. Prof. Dr. Nathitakarn Phayakka, Assistant Dean for Special Activities and faculty members welcomed H.E. Mr. Kiptiness Lindsay Kimwole, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the Kingdom of Thailand on the occasion of visiting the faculty and discussed on the occasion of visiting and discussing international cooperation in coffee development, the use of agricultural waste beneficially according to the BCG and students exchange programmes led by Professor Dr. Chanakan Tebolt Promuthai, Director of Lanna Rice Research Center and the center’s personnel as well as take a tour of the center's research.

After that, H.E. Mr. Kiptiness Lindsay Kimwole visited the Lanna Thai Coffee Hub, Faculty of Agriculture at the Agricultural Innovation Research, Integration, Demonstration and Training Center Chiang Mai University (AIRIDTC) to exchange academic knowledge and the opportunity to collaborate in developing coffee breed, growing coffee and problams caused through planting in Thailand and Kenya with Dr. Nuttapon Khongdee, Assistant Head of the Center and the center’s members on Friday, June 21, 2024.
