Faculty of Agriculture, CMU and National Taiwan University organized a 4-day volunteer camp at Phayaprai village

Faculty of Agriculture, CMU and School of Veterinary Medicine, National Taiwan University organized a 4-day volunteer camp and Thai National Children’s Day at Phayaprai School, Phayaprai Laoma village, Chiang Rai, on 9 – 12 January, 2024, under the CMU’s Seed Initiatives project 2024

 

In this project, Associate Professor Dr. Kesinee Gatphayak, Associate Dean for Unit of International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nathitakarn Phayakka, Assistant Dean for Special Activities, along with lecturers and students from Department of Agricultural Economy and Development and Department of plant and soil sciences, and faculty staff, organized the agricultural learning base activities for grade 4 – 9 students: Planting salad seeds, growing microgreen seedlings, maintaining seedlings, Soil analysis, transplanting seedlings, let's eat vegetables, drawings, From Past to Present (village development presentation), and Branding Presentation, with the support of Blue Coffee Co., Ltd., for the prize for students of 10,000 THB.
