The Faculty of Agriculture hosted a Coffee Course Program with National Chi Nan University, Taiwan

Assistant Professor Dr. Daruni Naphrom, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Associate Professor Dr. Kesinee Gatphayak, Associate Dean for Unit of International Affairs; along with the faculty lecturers and staffs, welcomed the lecturers and students from National Chi Nan University (NCNU), Taiwan, led by Professor Dr. Chong-Chuo Chang, Dean of the College of Management during the visit to the Faculty of Agriculture to participate in the Winter Coffee Course program, on December 11 – 16, 2023. The visiting schedule are as follows:

12 December 2023:

  • Faculty meeting and lecture on the Arabica coffee production at Agriculture faculty by Mr. Chawalit Korsamphan, Agricultural Scientist, AIRIDTC

13 December 2023:

  • Lecture on Coffee Industry in Taiwan and Coffee DIY Roasting Experience by Mr. Mr. Kuo-Min Chen and Dr. Jen-Son Cheng (NCNU)
  • Lecture & Practical on Brewing (Slow Bar, Speed Bar, Latte Art) by Mr. Naret Pintalert and Mr. Pong Loungmoon, Agricultural Scientists, AIRIDTC

14 December 2023:

  • Visiting Nong Hoi Highland Research Station, Mae Rim District
  • Station Introduction and lecture on Coffee type and general information
  • Practical session: From Seed to cup
  • Lecture and Practical on insect pests of coffee and Integrated pest management
