Faculty of Agriculture, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kesinee Gatphayak, Associate Dean for Unit of International Affairs, along with CMU executives, led by Prof. of Practice Charin Techapun, Ph.D., Vice President, and Faculty of Agro-Industry executives, led by Asst. Prof. Sujinda Sriwattana, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty, participated in the Cherry Tree Planting Ceremony and collaborated with the Yamagata-Thai Association, led by Mr. HIROJI SAGAE, Chairman and Representative Director, The Yamagata Newspaper Co., for demonstrating the friendship between Chiang Mai city and Yamagata city.
The ceremony used 20 Kanlapaphruek trees (or pink shower trees) as a representative of the Thai Sakura (cherry) tree, which is the symbol of success, planted at the Tat Chompoo Reservoir Chiang Mai University, on November 29, 2023.
